Preliminary Evaluation
Storyboard
Filming:We had certain Gide-lines to follow such as showing a conversation, someone exiting through a door, and someone crossing a corridor. We stuck to our planning sheet while filming and mostly followed the camera angles and shots leading up to the final piece. Our first scene was a over the shoulder shot of me (The actor) on my phone:
This next scene is a match on action shot of me getting out of the chair, standing up and walking to the door:
The next scene is a close up of my hand as i am opening the door:
This next shot used is a POV(Point Of View) shot of the character i played jogging down the stairs, looking for the drug dealer:
When filming the meeting we used the 1800 method which included a shot reverse shot of the conversation.
We decided to create an action scene that we did not include in the plan. Mid shot was used to capture the escape and pursuit of actors and then pan to follow them through parkour scene.filming we used a mid shot then high angle to capture the action and low angle of the dealer getting back the drugs illustrating the dealer’s ultimate superiority.
Due to it looking unprofessional and bad, instead of the dealer just punching my character, we instead got Kelechi to hold the camera and move it towards my face quickly to look like i got knocked out.
