Editing - Sound

Another part of the editing that I did was customizing the sounds in the extract. I had to learn a few editing techniques to make the sound was effectively use and pleasurable to the audience. This involved me changing volume and pitch of the sounds, putting in fades and al together removing sounds.

The first ting I learnt was removing sounds. this is done by detaching the audio footage form the clip. You click on the clip with the right mouse and then select detach audio. This audio is now in a separate box and can be moved or deleted freely. you could also slide the slider on the clip that controls volume to the bottom and this will mute all sound from the clip. These are screen shots taken from the mac to show the stages off dethatching the audio and changing the volume of the new audio.
