Typography of Spectre

Spectre Typography Order

This deconstruction is to allow us to see what order each part of the title scene goes in that way we are able structure the editing to follow meaning we have no trouble wondering what title to put next. 

Also incase I didn't know how to label a persons job title this deconstruction would help me with that too. So this would help me solve all those problems in the first place. 

First title of production company they used a simple black white font standing out of the foreground no different of style just normal block writing making it look professional. 

Then same writing slightly smaller but of main actor no sign of director or writer.

Main Title in foreground not a different font for the title before hand but this appears before any of the other people do even people like the director or other actors, which are vital to the film.

Actors

The next titles that appeared were actors and they included the words like starring and with to make all the roles seem interlinked in some sort of way as well as clumping the title on one shot as two may appear at once. 

The titles last for about 32 seconds between 50 seconds and 1.22 and as I only have 2 minuets for my film opening i think the actors need to be mentioned for my opening from 20 seconds to like 40 just so I am able to mention the other people.

Other Mentionable Names

Next names to pop up are the co producers no word of the actual producer but haven't seen the director or producer yet which surprised me as I thought they would one of the first people mentioned. 

People mentioned are camera operators and sound recording people that helped with those two. These roles are not that important as they are mentioned as a group unlike other films which mention one important name at a time. The names are still not in the way of the shot and do not take up a lot of room which should be achieved by titles. 

Make up artists and things are mentioned after camera operators which I didn't know before hand suggesting they are quite an important role which surprised me.

The assistant director is mentioned next along with the second assistant director before the actual person is even mentioned this makes me realise that in this film the director is mentioned last and not first something I have not noticed before however would have to look at other films to make sure that they follow a similar format.

The costume designer is far behind the make-up or anything else however the name is singled out ever displaying its importance or as there was no one relevant to costumes over than this person which is why that is the only name we see. 

This person is probably the main person editing which is something I am keen or putting into our film as I am going to be the main editor changing everything. 

This is a role that is mentioned near the end displaying its importance but not how good it actually is something to know when putting in titles that we are able to mention.

This is one of the last opening credits we see right at the end of the clip this means were I have planed to put in the writer that he should not be included until right near the end.

Both the producer and the director are mentioned last which I think i should keep in my mind as I always thought that they were one of the most important people in the whole of the filming process. However this could be used so that people remember there name which is a strategy that I could use in my film opening at the end just to mention them really quickly like the successful film of spectre.
